Whenever I tell someone I’m an interior designer, their first reaction is almost always the same:
“Oh gosh, don’t look at my house—it’s a mess!”I hear this constantly. And truthfully, those feelings of embarrassment, overwhelm, and longing are exactly what many of my clients quietly carry with them. They dream of a home that feels beautiful and pulled together but fear I’ll judge their unfinished corners, hand-me-down furniture, or the chaos of everyday life. But you deserve to see your home differently.
Here’s the thing: when I walk into a home, I’m not looking for perfection. I’m not assessing your worth through your paint color or sofa choice. My focus is on how you live—and how your home can support you better.
This is what it means to see your home differently. I’m looking for opportunities, not flaws. My passion is creating homes that are warm, functional, and deeply personal—spaces that reflect your rhythms, style, and story.
My role as a designer isn’t to critique; it’s to understand and improve. I’ve spent years helping families create homes that feel both elevated and lived-in. Even my own home is far from perfect, and that’s okay! Spaces evolve, just like we do.
When I visit a home, I naturally notice what’s working, what’s not, and where small changes can make a big impact. It’s about function, flow, and beauty coming together.
I notice how a space serves your family’s needs, today and in the future. A young family may need open, flexible areas for play. Teens crave privacy and space for hobbies. Empty-nesters may need comfort, accessibility, and ease of maintenance.
As a mom myself, I know how important durable, performance fabrics are for family life. Every design decision should make daily living easier and more enjoyable.
I also look for the best qualities of a home, the bones. Maybe it’s gorgeous natural light, beautiful sightlines, or an architectural detail waiting to shine again. I instantly imagine how those features could be enhanced: a dated fireplace refreshed, classic trim highlighted, or natural light maximized to create an airy, welcoming feel.
When I see your home differently as an interior designer, I see potential everywhere. My goal is to uncover what already makes your home special and transform it into something extraordinary.
Ultimately, interior design isn’t about chasing trends or striving for perfection—it’s about creating spaces that feel deeply aligned with who you are. Through thoughtful design, your home can evolve into a place that supports your lifestyle, reflects your values, and feels like a true extension of you.
That’s the real transformation, seeing your home differently, and loving it more than ever.
