Inside The Project

Peel Avenue Residence is a spec home turned custom home, designed to prove how much impact thoughtful design can have, even when the original floor plan is already set.

While the bones of the home were in place, our role was to look closely at how this family would live inside it and make intentional changes that improved the function, flow, and feeling of each space. We added pocket doors, removed the door to the pantry, and reworked the area into a more intentional walk-in pantry that better supported everyday family life.

What could have been a standard office became one of the most memorable spaces in the home. By removing the doors, we created a moody, intimate room designed for slow mornings with coffee and relaxed evenings with a glass of wine. Most of the cased openings were softened with arches, bringing a more custom, architectural feel to the home.

Every room was designed with its own personality while still feeling connected to the larger story of the residence. From wallpapered ceilings to a calm, neutral primary suite, we leaned into the family’s taste, routines, and point of view to create a home that feels deeply personal.
