Let me say this with love and a smile.
I don’t work with clients who want to handle their own purchasing.
Not because I’m trying to be difficult. Not because I want control for the sake of control. But because I care far too much about the final result to let the process fall apart halfway through.
The truth is, great design doesn’t stop with a beautiful plan, but with the execution that makes a home feel complete.
And that’s where most people underestimate what actually goes into this work.
Yes, you could purchase the same chair I specify from an online retailer. As part of our business operates as a retailer, we are contractually obligated to price our furnishings at MSRP, which means you will often see the same pricing from large online stores.
So no, you’re not paying more.
What you’re getting is an entirely different experience.
When our team handles purchasing, every piece moves through a process designed to protect your home and your time. We source, track, inspect, coordinate, problem solve, and manage every detail before it ever reaches your front door.
If something arrives damaged, we handle it. If a shipment is delayed, we fix it. If something isn’t right, it never becomes your problem.
Those final adjustments are what take a room from “nice” to “wow.”
And that only happens when we’re responsible for the entire picture.
As a full-service luxury design firm, we price items at exactly what you would pay online. No more, no less. We do our best to ensure our pricing aligns with retail. Can I catch every 5% off coupon? No. But is 5% off worth handling every detail yourself? Probably not.
Our pricing reflects something much bigger than the product itself.
Most of that work is invisible to our clients, which is exactly the point.
We remove the mental load entirely. No tracking shipments. No chasing vendors. No wondering if something will arrive correctly. No coordinating ten different moving parts at once.
You get to walk into a home that feels finished.
I always explain it like this.
If you hired a floral designer for a major event — a wedding, a 50th birthday, a launch party — you’re not just paying for the flowers.
You’re paying for her to design the entire concept, measure the space, and calculate quantities. She sources the right florals, sometimes from across the world ensuring they arrive fresh, on time, and exactly as envisioned.
If she handed you her pricing on the flowers, she wouldn’t have a business. She wouldn’t be able to pay her team or deliver the experience you hired her for.
It’s the same here.
You’re not paying for a product.
You’re investing in the process, the expertise, and the outcome.
The same applies to large retailers we all shop at. Does Publix charge you what they pay for bananas? No, because if they did, shopping there wouldn’t be a pleasure.
Interior design at this level is a luxury service, so it’s not just a list of links or a one-time decision.
We stay involved. We’re onsite. We answer the quick questions that can completely change how a room comes together. We adjust when something on site shifts, because something always does.
We’re constantly looking out for the vision and making sure every detail still feels aligned.
When purchasing gets split up, responsibility gets split too. Things start slipping through the cracks. The experience starts to feel disconnected instead of seamless.
And that’s just not how we work.
The clients who work with us feel something very specific.
–Relief–
They hand over the keys, trust the process, and let us manage everything from start to finish. They’re not carrying the stress of coordinating, sourcing, tracking, or troubleshooting.
They actually get to enjoy the process.
And more importantly, they get to walk into a home that feels exactly how it was meant to feel.
Could we offer a different structure? Yes.
Would it reflect the level of work we’re known for? No.
We design homes that feel considered, cohesive, and effortless. That level of quality requires full involvement from start to finish.
Clients who value that experience tend to really enjoy working with us.
And if you’re someone who appreciates thoughtful design, a seamless process, and a team that quietly handles the details behind the scenes…
we’ll likely work very well together.
If you’re looking for a fully managed, high-touch design experience where every detail is handled with care, we’d love to hear about your project. From concept to installation, we guide each step so your home comes together beautifully, without unnecessary stress.
